Our final day in Colorado... until August that is!!!

Well Saturday was our last day that we had in Colorado and since we had found our apartment the day before we all decided that we need to spend the last day relaxing/ exploring CO!
We woke up and had Ihop for breakfast and then headed to the beautiful Rocky mountains!
A lake in Loveland!
Horsies :)
I believe these  were called the Backbone mountains.  They reminded me of a dinosaur back!

CHOCOLATE!

We bought all our sweets and were ready to go :)

Estes park :) So pretty and such a fun town!

Deer (I think lol)

First picture head ing up the rockies <3

Mom and daughter :)
(Jeanae was such a great sport! She put up with us and was willing to deal with all the stresses of figuring out the living arrangements! A big thank you! )

These snow walls were just everywhere! So amazing that there was this much snow still!

All three of us :)

UNC Students!

Thumbs up!

SNOW!!!

Throwing snow! (like we are 4 haha)

We were so happy to be free from apartment searching! Dancing in the parking lot like goofs!

Eating lunch by a river!
Waiting for our plane... I'm not looking to happy!
Our flight got delayed an extra hour and then we had trouble with the flyaway so our trip home wasn't exactly pleasurable but we were safe so for that I was thankful!!!

Our trip was amazing! We are so so excited to go back.
The plan is to leave AUGUST 1ST!!!
I will keep this updated even if there aren't pictures but, hopefully there will be!

Day three... Finally!!!

Ok, so I know that this is really late but finally here is... Day three of Greeley!

So Lauren and I technically went to sleep for day two on day three at like 3:30 am!!! We woke up feeling a little tired which made our first priority Starbucks!!!!
On the day before we had lined up a full day of apartment viewings for Friday which started at 9 am.  For lunch we met with Jean, my grandpa's friend from junior high! She has been such a wonderful help with the process :)

We saw a total of six apartments while on our trip, three the previous day and three this day.  They started at the worst and got better with each one! We finally found an apartment (which was the last one we saw) and went down to the agency to start the process of applying right away.

This is our building! it is old but, very nice inside! It is in a great neighborhood with all apartments and town homes! (Sorry I didn't get pictures of the inside!!)
We are unit number two!
We just submitted our deposit (OUCH!) and our paperwork and it should all be final on monday!!!

Our apartment is right across the street from a HUGE and BEAUTIFUL park <3

There were tons of family's and little kids playing on the swings!
It is really close to the school too!
It was also off our favorite street :)

We finished the busy day with running errands at the school.... trying to find the correct buildings was so much harder than imaginable!
I was so excited to see all the sports fields!!!
Baseball score board!
Football field! Excited to hopefully make some of the games :)

We went to the mall and then just relaxed in our room all night! It was another successful (and stressful!) day in Greeley for us but the Lord is so good and everything worked out wonderfully!
We were so excited for day four!

P.S.-
Sorry for the color change! I couldn't figure out how to get it the same! It's driving me nuts!

Day two....One word...

EXHAUSTED!

Day two is over!!! It was successful but exhausting....
Hope you have enjoy reading/seeing our day!
The day started with waking up and immediately starting more apartment searching!!! We had to find more agencies for listings which was actually kinda hard! This town has proven to be the most confusing town ever! We went in circles and felt lost almost all day.  We still can't figure out how to get to the school!
This is our plan. Our map and list of apartments to find!

This is a BEAUTIFUL park that we found!
Lauren and I at the park.
Lauren on the cute bridge.
Our favorite tree! We must have passed it 6 times today!
I'm next to it to show how HUGE it is!
We took a break and ate frozen yogurt while (finally) walking around UNC!!!
The campus is soooo beautiful :)
This is where lauren and I will be taking almost all of our classes!!!
This is inside the hall!

It's kind of small but it say's "School of Nursing" and right under it "School of Sports and Exercise Science"!
Looking up!

Holding the UNC Bear's hand :)

After our trip to the bookstore, we decided to take a break from Greeley and head North to Fort Collins.  It was such a beautiful drive! It made all of us fall even more in love with Colorado!
5:30 rush hour

It is so green!

Enough pictures of the scenery...
It is kind of blurry but these are all sheep! We are in ranch country!

This was on the drive home from Fort Collins.... it was so beautiful (can I say that enough!)
Fort Collins was beautiful! It was more fancy than Greeley which we like! We look forward to many visits in the future for some fun nights out!

We ended the day with a trip to Walmart ( which I am getting used to the idea of shopping there!).  It was a crazy day full of laughing, teasing, stress, adventure, and wonder at this beautiful state!
Tomorrow will be full of looking INSIDE these apartments and hopefully be picking one to apply for!
Stay tuned for new pictures tomorrow!

Day one!

Well we made it!!! We left the house at 3:50am (only 5 minutes late! ) and everything with the flight went smoothly.  We arrived at about 9:00 (their time) and made it to the hotel by 11:00 but, check-in wasn't until 1:00 pm so we got lunch and explored the town!
Open roads!!!
The BEAUTIFUL mountains!

We had lunch and went around the campus and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! And huge!
UNC!!!
We then started our apartment search.  This is proving to be a little more difficult than expected.  Some of the areas are not that nice so we have to be more picky about where we choose to live.  Tomorrow we will be actually looking at some of them!
There are lots of these beautiful brick houses with ivy! Wish we could live in one of these!
We aren't sure what this means but we though it was odd... (this is in one of  the not so good areas)
After looking at the more central area of Greeley, we went ventured down to Evans (the town next door).  WE LOVED IT!!!!  It can be a little more expensive but we really are hoping to find a place in this town! It is more open and much slower (more of a family town).
A bear statue at one of the parks in Evans
The night ended with an ice cream run filled with lightning and thunder!!! We are not used to it and once the power went out at the mall... (we both jumped lol)
In the town of Evans!
The clouds before the thunder storm!
It was CLEAR skies all day and all of a sudden clouds everywhere! It's amazing!
So tomorrow will be another BUSY day! We are very excited but feeling nervous about finding the perfect place! (Prayers would be VERY welcome!)
Hope you enjoyed the run down of our first day in our future home!!!!
